Using the "UNIVIEW GAME ASSISTANT" GPT

A customized ChatGPT program was created especially for The UNIVIEW Game, called, the "Uniview Game Assistant." This GPT tool was created primarily for judges to use, in obtaining fitting answers to UNIVIEW Game questions, to check against what the players say.

The simplest way to access the Uniview Game Assistant is to scan the QR code below. This code also appears in the bottom RH corner of the last page of the game rulebook.

You will FIRST have to open a FREE ChatGPT account and create a password. Go to www.ChatGPT.com to do this.

Scan the QR code above, or click here.

After getting into the Uniview Game Assistant, you will see an "Ask anything" box at the bottom of the screen. Tap or click the small microphone icon and speak your question into the phone.

When finished asking the question, click the small checkmark to get the answer.

You may either read the answer, or play the answer aloud with an AI generated voice by clicking the small speaker icon at the bottom of the written answer. All of this is illustrated below:

If you do not get any response from the Assistant, please check to make sure mic assess is enabled in the ChatGPT application settings and in your browser.

IMPORTANT POINTERS ON USING THE GPT TOOL

1. When asking the Assistant for Truth Statements that relate to a particular person, thing, activity or event, the judge may ask the Assistant to provide answers in "chart format." This makes it easier for a judge to see fitting answers at a glance, without reading through paragraphs of information.

For example, if GEORGE WASHINGTON was an item of discussion, the judge would say: "Which Truth Statements relate to George Washington. Please give the answer in a simple chart format, using middle-school friendly language."

Something like this will appear on the screen:

If the judge wants an answer given in chart format to be put into paragraph format for playing back for players to hear, the judge would simply say to the Assistant: "Please give me that answer again in paragraph format using middle-school friendly language."

This is what the above chart format looks like in paragraph format for playing back to students to hear:

2. It is possible that the Assistant may only provide Truth Statements from the God, Creation and Humanity categories. If this happens, the judge may ask the Assistant to "provide Truth Statements in all 5 categories: God, Creation, Humanity, Moral Order and Purpose."

3. Sometimes the Assistant may be a bit long-winded for middle-school students. To get a shorter answer from the Assistant, the judge may instruct the Assistant to give the answer using no more than a certain number of words.

For example, a judge might say to the Assistant: "Which Truth Statements relate to mopping the kitchen floor? Please give the answer in under 300 words, using middle-school friendly language."

If an answer in under 200 words was desired, the judge would tell the Assistant, "...Please give the answer in under 200 words..."

4. OpenAI sets daily usage limits for FREE users to make sure everyone gets fair access. If you're using the free version of ChatGPT, and you've used the Uniview Game Assistant GPT more than 10 times in one sitting, you may hit a "temporary usage cap." If that happens, you'll see a message like: “Upgrade to ChatGPT Plus or try again after [time].”

This means your session has been temporarily paused until the listed time.

However, 10 questions given to the Uniview Game Assistant GPT are usually sufficient for one game session to be completed. If you need or want to use the Assistant more than 10 times in a single game, the simple solution is to switch to a different smart phone to continue using the GPT tool if one phone is put on pause.

There is no need to upgrade unless you want unlimited access on a single phone.

The Uniview Game Assistant stays 100% free to use under typical game lengths and the number of sessions played.
