Dr. Overman explains the game to 11-year-old Matthew.

Why The UNIVIEW Game was created.

The UNIVIEW Game is about helping people see all things in the CONTEXT of the bigger picture that surrounds EVERYTHING:

the Biblical Uniview.

But what does that MEAN?

Why does it MATTER?

Watch the video below:

Here's the biggest problem we're addressing:

The UNIVIEW Game is a "spin-off" from this book:

To be read in the 8th grade, yet suitable for adults!

This book has been shaping thought since 1989.

Using the "UNIVIEW GAME ASSISTANT" GPT

("the gadget")

A customized ChatGPT program was created especially for The UNIVIEW Game, called, the "Uniview Game Assistant." Since this GPT tool is not human, we call it "the gadget." It was created primarily for judges to use in obtaining fitting answers to UNIVIEW Game questions, and it gives an opportunity for players to hear additional answers to questions which they may not have considered.

To access "the gadget," you may scan the QR code below, or use the link below the code.

You will FIRST have to open a FREE ChatGPT account and create a password. Go to www.ChatGPT.com to do this before using the QR code below.

Scan this QR code or click here.

Once the "gadget" is opened, you will see an "Ask anything" box at the bottom of the screen. Tap or click the small microphone icon and speak your question into the phone. Or you may type it in.

When finished posing the question, click the small checkmark to receive the answer.

After the players have exhausted their answers, the judge may play the answer for all the players to hear by tapping the small speaker icon below written text of the answer. All of this is illustrated below:

click/tap on this image to enlarge it

If you do not get any response from the gadget please check to make sure mic assess is enabled in the ChatGPT application settings and in your browser.

IMPORTANT: When you ask a question, be sure to include these words following the question: "Answer in paragraph form using 100 words or less in a smooth flowing style with short sentences and no missing words when spoken aloud."

If you do not give these parameters to the gadget, it may become long-winded, and may drop words when the verbal answering option is used.

If you want more in-depth answers, just increase the number of words to 150, 200, or whatever number you wish. If you want the answer to include supporting Scripture references, ask for this.

OpenAI sets daily usage limits for FREE users to make sure everyone gets fair access. If you're using the free version of ChatGPT, and you've used the Uniview Game Assistant GPT more than 10 times in one sitting, you may hit a "temporary usage cap." If that happens, you'll see a message like: “Upgrade to ChatGPT Plus or try again after [time].”

This means your session has been temporarily paused until the listed time.

However, 10 questions given to the gadget are usually sufficient for one game session to be completed. If you need or want to use the gadget more than 10 times in a single game, the simple solution is to switch to a different smart phone to continue using the GPT tool if one phone is put on pause.

There is no need to upgrade unless you want unlimited access on a single phone.

The Uniview Game Assistant stays 100% free to use under typical game lengths and the number of sessions played.

Becoming comfortable with the GPT tool before playing the game with kids is critical. You don’t want to be fumbling around with “the gadget” when playing the game, as this will greatly hinder the “flow” of the game for the kids. A positive attitude on your part toward the game is really necessary in order for the kids to fully enjoy it.

To this end, some practice using the GPT tool before playing the game with kids may be needed.

Sometimes, you may want to use the GPT tool outside of the game. It is very usable outside the context of playing the game. While the quickest way to get to the "gadget" is to scan the QR code that appears above (and also appears on the back of the game box), you can use a ChatGPT app on your phone when the QR code is not available to you.

Below are some photos with comments/recommendations regarding installing the "gadget" on your phone. Bear in mind, however, that these photos are from an Android phone and things may not look the same on an iPhone. Also, not all Android phones are alike, so this can make things even more challenging!

On your phone, install the ChatGPT app. (Go to “Play Store” to search for this app if you have an Android phone, or to The App Store if you have an iPhone.)

After installing the ChatGPT app on your phone, place the app icon on your phone screen for quick and easy access. (If you are unsure how to do this, get some technical assistance from a friend who understands these things.)

Note that when you open the ChatGPT app, it will NOT automatically take you to the Uniview Game Assistant GPT. But THAT’S where you need to be! 😊

On MY phone, to get to the “Uniview Game Assistant” I tap the 2 bars in the upper LH corner as shown here in the red circle:

After I tap the 2 bars, a menu appears that looks like this, showing “GPTs” as an option. I tap that option.

After tapping the “GPTs” option, my screen looks like what is show below, clearly giving the Uniview Game Assistant as an option. I then tap that option.

After tapping the Uniview Game Assistant, MY screen looks like the photo below.

NOW I know that I am in the Uniview Game Assistant and not just the “regular” ChatGPT program. Hurray!

You must be in the Uniview Game Assistant GPT for “the gadget” to work properly for the game.

One final note: The Uniview Game Assistant GPT is not just something to use when playing the game. You will find it extremely helpful on other occasions when you want to get a biblically-informed answer. Try it!

But be sure you are using the Uniview Game Assistant and not the “regular” ChatGPT program.
