Restoring the "Circle of Knowledge"

The "Circle of Knowledge," from the 17th century Reformers, has four elements:

1) God creates all things.

2) Humans learn about what God has created.

3) Humans use what they have discovered to imitate God through producing "secondary creations" out of His primary creation.

4) God is glorified through human occupations of all kinds, from carpentry to cooking.

Dr. Christian Overman's free on-line training course, Eliminating the Sacred/Secular Divide: Pedagogy of the Unoppressed, was created to restore "the Circle of Knowledge" in a contemporary setting.

What school leaders are saying about Dr. Overman's training:

“If we could go back and make a different choice, I would make the same choice [to participate in Dr. Overman's training]. The rewards of implementation have far exceeded the amount of work.”

“[Dr. Overman's training] offers practical application tools that I have not seen in other such programs.”

“I would do [Dr. Overman's training] again without hesitation.”

Watch teachers, staff and principals at Lighthouse Christian School, Gig Harbor, Washington, share about their experience with Dr. Overman's "Worklife Restoration and Advancement Program" [the WRAP], which has been updated and now called, "Eliminating the Sacred/Secular Divide: Pedagogy of the Unoppressed":
